15 SECOND SONGS
This video is present to show proof of concept of my video pitch. As mentioned in my application, three words of this song were crowdsourced and the performer was given one week to come up with and record a 15-second song incorporating those words.
The words given by passengers on a tram were, Microwave, caramel, and elephant. Once the song was sent to me I synchronised the footage and audio in addition to doing some audio balancing.
EVENT COVERAGE AND PROMOTION
I have included this particular video in my application as it speaks well to my ability to film live events. In addition to this, it emphasises my answer to question twelve of the key selection criteria and my ability to understand the issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Straight Islander people.
This video speaks well to my ability to create content designed for engagement with a specific age demographic. As part of the brief for the product launch, Red Island expressed the want to create a video designed to reach a younger age group than their current market.
The interviews present in this video provided further evidence of my ability to work with footage and audio captured across multiple cameras. It also speaks really well to my ability to work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and authentically tel their story.
